At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, it’s easy to get caught up in the giant TVs and the loud speaker systems, but sometimes the smaller things are worth mentioning as well. I’m not entirely sure if these things really fall under that category, but I thought the company did an interesting job with marketing.
What you see here may appear to be just a series of cheap toys from the dollar store or maybe some random cell phone charm, but these are actually USB flash drives. The people from Fruitshop have this Bone Collection of USB flash drives. They’ll come in a variety of shapes and sizes, including the dinosaurs and pandas depicted here.
Fruitshop put together a (somewhat) large display with a whole bunch of these disgustingly cute products. It was one massive epic scene, almost like what you would get with Dungeons and Dragons or some other similar board-style game, except this was really, really cute.
I can’t hate too much though. The flash drives are pretty well designed. You decapitate the cute pandas and dinosaurs to reveal the USB connector. In this way, you will never lose the cap, but the connector stays protected when not in use.
