Lego R2-D2 USB Drive Stuffs Head into Your Computer

We’ve seen some pretty creative USB flash drives. Everyone has heard about the USB humping dog and you may have come across the drive that looks like a severed finger for Halloween, but this latest creation will appeal to plenty of sci-fi geeks all around the world.

While he doesn’t have that phallic-inspired computer-interacting arm coming out of his midsection, this Lego R2-D2 USB flash drive could be the perfect gift for the Star Wars geek in your life. The holidays are just around the corner and I’m sure that whoever receives this will be more appreciative than if you offered him yet another pack of wool socks.

Instead of using the aforementioned interactive arm, this Lego R2-D2 drive is a little more crazy in its approach, stuffing the top part of its head into an available USB port on your laptop or desktop. This makes him look pretty cool when he’s connected to your computer, but the exposed USB connector definitely looks out of place when he’s sitting on your table.

No, he’s far from the fanciest flash drive on the market and he won’t come with any special biometric security system, but he’s R2-freaking-D2! Complete with a protection cap, activity LED, and four gigabytes of internal memory, this Star Wars-inspired droid retails for $49.99 on Etsy.
