As a aveage consumer with 3 kids and a accident prone wife i see the value offered in this plan, sure you could buy a new phone for what you pay out in insurance in 3 years BUT can the average person replace that nice touch screen phone out of pocket on a moments notice when little jill/john has just flushed it? In my experience not easily. The deductable is reasonable and competitive for the industry, and allows you to replace the phone up to two times if neccessary(second claim = second deductable)
