By now, you’ve probably heard about the Vertu premium line of cell phones and how the jewel-encrusted wonders can go for thousands of dollars. You don’t pay for anything in terms of added functionality, but you do get a lot more bling to show off at the billionaires ball. Given the recent economic situation, you may not want to blow that kind of money on a cell phone anymore.
Taking a page out of the Vertu book that doesn’t include high-end jewels and premium pricing is the Hacha PF02 MP3 player. It very clearly borrows its primary styling cues from the Vertu Signature phone, but without the high-end materials or bling-worthy eye candy. Instead, you get a chunk of white plastic with some blue keys. Oh, and it’s just an MP3 player and not a mobile phone.
Actual features on this $15 player include 2GB of storage, USB 2.0 connectivity, and support for MP3, WMA, and OGG files.
