Just because you want to save a few bucks and get a Dell doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice anything in terms of performance. The Studio line of notebooks from Dell is largely designed to be functional and fashionable at the same time, while offering a good deal of affordability to boot. And now it’s got Centrino 2 to go with it.

It took them a little while, but the Dell Studio 15 line of notebooks is now getting equipped with the latest Intel Centrino 2 mobile technology. You get specs starting with an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor, a 256MB ATI Radeon HD 3450 graphics processor, and integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi support from Intel as well.

Prices start at $999 for the updated Dell Studio 15. Personally, I’d want something slightly smaller but that’s a great price for what appears to be a great laptop.
