When Apple scheduled the Let’s Rock event a while ago, we knew that it would provide the venue for some iPod updates. With this upcoming Apple press event on October 14th, we can now be incredibly confident that it will be the venue for unveiling some new Apple MacBook laptops.

It was already pretty much confirmed, but Apple has started sending out the official invitations and the tagline on the card reads, “The spotlight turns to notebooks.” We are given the silhouette of what appears to be a black MacBook of some kind, but no other details are provided.

Yup, old Stevie is being as cryptic as ever, so we’ll just have to wait a few more days to find out exactly what Cupertino has in store for us.
