Seems like I spoke too soon, because it’s not just Telus that is going to offer a touchscreen BlackBerry to all these business and multimedia-minded Canucks. The other major Canadian CDMA provider, Bell Mobility, is also joining in on the touchy-feely fun by adding the BlackBerry Storm to its lineup as well.

As far as we can tell, the specs and features on the Bell version of the BlackBerry Storm will be much the same as the variant that will be offered through Telus. This means that you get a large touchscreen display, no physical keypad, a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, and full HTML web browsing.

While there is no mention of this in the Telus release, the Bell preview page notes that the Storm will work on both CDMA and GSM networks, meaning that they are getting the World Edition. I’d imagine that the GSM radio is limited to 900/1800 so people don’t just grab it for use on Rogers and Fido.

Said to be coming soon from Bell, the new BlackBerry Storm will let you “take the world by storm.” Check out the official pre-launch page here. Still no word on price or launch date.
