I’ll admit that my desk is pretty cluttered. There’s just cables and things leading out of just about every direction, but that’s part of the nature of the game. Helping to declutter the top of your desk is the newly announced Simplifi from Griffin. At first glance, it may appear to be just any other iPod dock, but it’s got a couple of bonus features as well.

Yes, it serves perfectly fine as a charging and synchronization dock for your iPod or iPhone, but you’ll also notice that it’s got a multi-card reader in the front that will accept Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, SD, xD, and CompactFlash formats. As if that weren’t enough, it also happens to boast a 2-port powered USB hub, so you actually gain an additional USB port by using this thing. Unfortunately, it’s not USB bus-powered, so there is an AC adapter involved.

The Griffin Simplifi is available now for $69.99. I’m trying to score a review unit so that I can give you guys a better look at this rather nifty desktop solution.
