It seems that Iomega is paying attention to the styling preferences of Apple fanboys, because the new Iomega eGo Helium external hard drive has an outward appearance that mimics that of the MacBook Air. Yes, the eGo Helium will work with other computers, but it looks to be a “perfect match” for the Air. It’s been pre-formatted for the HFS+ file system too.
Weighing less than half a pound and not requiring an external power source, the Iomega eGo Helium packs 320GB of storage capacity. By buying this drive, you get EMC Retrospect and MozyHome for free. The 2GB Mozy service comes for free too.
The Iomega eGo Helium drive ships this October for $150.
