Best Buy Canada Only Has New iPods for Pre-Order

Canadians tend to get the short end of the stick when it comes to technology and the unveiling of the latest generation of iPods is no exception. If you go over to the Best Buy Canada website today, you’ll notice that the big box retailer has already updated its site to include the 4th-gen nano. Unfortunately, there is no “buy now” button.

Instead, the promo page only leads you to a series of icons that read “pre-order now.” In this way, you cannot buy the updated iPod touch or the 120GB iPod classic just yet, nor can you snag up the round and colorful 4th-gen iPod nano. There’s no indication as to when the new iPods will ship through Best Buy either.

If you really can’t wait to get your hands on the svelte new iPod nano, then I suggest you go over to the Apple Canada website instead. There, it says that the iPod will ship in one to two business days. Much better than a “pre-order” with no scheduled ship date.
