AT&T Fuze is the HTC Touch Pro

AT&T seems to be getting all the cool toys these days, getting loaded up with the iPhone 3G and the soon-to-be-launched BlackBerry Bold. Keeping a good smartphone thing going, it seems that AT&T is also going to get the HTC Touch Pro, only rebranded as the AT&T Fuze.

This is not out of the ordinary for AT&T, as the network operator has rebranded other HTC smartphones in the past. We’ve seen the AT&T Tilt, for example. From what we can tell, the forthcoming the AT&T Fuze will be functionally identical to its HTC-branded cousin, getting full tri-band (850/1900/2100) HSDPA connectivity and all that jazz. You also get Microsoft’s Direct Push email, Good Mobile Messaging, BlackBerry Connect, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Your smartphone decisions could be getting much more difficult in the months to come, even if you’ve narrowed your options down to AT&T. The Touch Pro Fuze is one good-looking phone.
