“Rules? Who needs rules? I make my own rules, man!” With a name like the Motorola V950 Renegade, it’s clear that Sprint is targeting the ultra-rugged end of the market with this particular cell phone. Following in a similar style as iDEN phones you may have seen in the past, the Motorola V950 Renegade is, well, pretty tough.

It makes use of the Direct Connect walkie-talkie service, keeping you in touch with other renegades, rogues, and vigilantes. Oh, and I guess you could use at worksites and other less than pleasant circumstances as well. The V950 Renegade passes military standards for dust, shock, vibration, and “blowing rain” protection.

Rounding out the specs are a 2 megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot, GPS turn-by-turn directions, and support for the Sprint Music Store, Sprint TV, and Sprint Mobile Sync. All this ruggedness comes at the price of $129.99 with a two-year contract and mail-in rebate.
