
The upgrades that accompany this firmware update include HTML email and formatting, remote server search, free/busy calendar lookup, video recording, an improved media player, and Office document editing on the fly. The email app gets a better UI and web browser is more “desktop-like” with zoom and a cursor.
No exact date has been announced, but we’re looking at a mid-September launch of the BlackBerry OS 4.5 for AT&T users. All devices shipping after mid-October will come preloaded with the new OS.
