Over at IFA 2008, Samsung is showing off its latest addition to its portable audio player with the introduction of the Samsung YP-Q1. Looking at the feature set, you get everything that you’ve come to expect from a Sammy player.

Taking on the familiar bar-style form factor, the YP-Q1 can handle your usual smattering of audio formats, including MP3, WMA, WAV, Ogg Vorbis, and FLAC, but the little color display is also good for your video files too, including MPEG4 and WMV. When you get tired of your own collection, there’s also the integrated FM radio with RDS.

Unfortunately, early reviews say that the user interface is actually a step back and the YP-Q1 isn’t quite as thin as it could be. Look for the Samsung YP-Q1 in 4Gb, 8GB, and 16GB capacities.
