It’s not out of the ordinary to find a sports car that can break the 400 horsepower limit, but it’s another thing altogether when they do it from a tiny four-banging engine.
Providing the grunt to the Aeon GT3 is a relatively small 1.8L inline-4 engine. It just so happens to be turbocharged, blasting out 430 horsepower and 230 lbs-ft of torque. Yeah, the torque isn’t all that impressive, but this is meant to be one high-revving monster (in a very lightweight package). The 1.8L is enough to send the Aeon GT3 from a standstill to 60mph in just 3.2 seconds.
Built by Justin Yates, the Aeon GT3 can be replicated for sale as a special edition model. And yes, it’s actually street legal (in the UK at least).
