Some people may prefer the full QWERTY keyboard for their mobile email needs. Others may prefer the funky multitouch display for ease of use. Whatever the case, it seems that the BlackBerry Bold and the iPhone 3G are relatively evenly matched when it comes to features, right? Well, how do the two web browsers compare?

In the video embedded below, you’ll watch as the BlackBerry Bold and the iPhone 3G both attempt to load the same webpage at the same time. It seems that Safari is the winner, because the iPhone 3G manages to beat the Bold to the punch.

I wonder what is accounting for the difference? The Bold is no pushover when it comes to specs and numbers, so why can’t it keep up with Cupertino’s smartphone?
