Mercedes-AMG Cars Loading Up with Bang & Olufsen Sound Systems

There’s already quite a bit of prestige that comes with driving an AMG edition Mercedes vehicle. When you cruise around town in one of those cars, you’re bound to catch a few eyes. With this new arrangement, you could be catching a few ears as well.

It seems that Mercedes and AMG are teaming up with the people at Bang & Olufsen to equip the high-end luxury cars with a premium sound system. Bang & Olufsen is no stranger to the OEM sound market, having already worked on a number of high-end models from Audi, so doing up some Mercedes cars should be a walk in the park.

You can probably imagine that these OEM-installed and approved sound systems will probably come at a fairly hefty premium. Then again, if you can afford an AMG Mercedes, the money probably isn’t too much of a problem for you.
