LG Voyager Gets Verizon Visual Voicemail, Costs $2.99 a Month

While it could be construed as good news that Visual Voicemail is finally making its way to the touchscreen-equipped LG Voyager, there is also a bit of a downer in this report as well. Despite earlier reports and the fact that the iPhone does it “for free”, Visual Voicemail on Verizon’s LG Voyager comes at a monthly premium.

As opposed to the price of zero dollars and zero cents at AT&T, if you want to get Visual Voicemail on your LG Voyager, you’ll need to fork out $2.99 each and every month. This is in addition to any data or airtime charges, so you’ll want a decent voice and data plan as well. Data overages are not a happy ordeal.

For $2.99, you get to hold up to 40 messages for 40 days. For now, Visual Voicemail will only work on the LG Voyager, but Verizon plans on moving this onto other phones in the near future. The download is here.
