You already know about the Asus Eee PC, HP Mini-Note, Acer Aspire One, and a wide assortment of other subnotebooks, so you also knew that Lenovo wasn’t going to let this market slip through its fingers. Jumping right into the netbook fray is the Lenovo IdeaPad S10.

Taking a look at the spec sheet, the IdeaPad S10 from Lenovo is pretty much running par for the course. You get a 10.2-inch LED backlit display, 512MB or 1GB of RAM, an 80GB or 160GB hard drive, webcam, Wi-Fi, multicard reader, ExpressCard slot, and Windows XP. The keyboard is about 85% as big as a real notebook keyboard.

Set for launch in October with prices starting at $399, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10 will come in your choice of classic white, bold black, or glossy ruby red.
