You don’t have to turn to the big boys to get a super high resolution camera on your mobile phone. If you just hop on over to China, you’ll discover the incredible X908. Well, at least this phone looks terribly impressive on paper; we can’t speak to its actual performance.

Aside from a honking eight megapixel camera with a retractable 3x optical zoom lens, the China-made X908 phone comes with a 3-inch QVGA display, stereo Bluetooth support, FM radio, microSD expansion, analog TV tuner, dual-SIM support, and a secondary 2 megapixel camera on the front for video calls. The design is about as utilitarian as it gets.

Oh, and if you’re wondering what company is behind is shutter-minded mobile, we can’t tell you. It’s only being marketed as the X908.
