Fido Unleashes New Site Design, Dons Black and Gold

While it may not have been the prettiest website on the block, the old Fido site was a heck of a lot more user friendly than the one offered by Rogers Wireless. Even so, I’m kind of digging the new black and gold look.

The official website for the dog got a complete revamp, getting rid of the simple white background of old for a more classy appearance. Presumably, this new look is supposed to come just in time for Friday’s launch of the iPhone 3G. They say that this is the iPhone that you’ve been waiting for.

You’ll also notice that it is possible to customize the front page according to your customer situation. Prepaid customers get slightly different options than monthly customers, for example, and the page listing all the handsets is set on a grid pattern now, making it easier to see more phones at once. Windows Mobile phones have been pushed to a separate page too.
