We already know that Telus Mobility is getting the HTC Touch Diamond, but that’s not where the touchscreens end for the “future is friendly” cellular service provider. To provide another option for Canadians unhappy with Rogers iPhone 3G data plans, Telus Mobility has announced that it will also be adding the Samsung Instinct to its lineup as well.

As you may have heard, Telus won’t be the only Canadian network operator to trust its instinct, so to speak, because Bell Mobility will have the touchy Instinct as well. There’s no word as to whether Bell will react by snagging a version of the HTC Touch Diamond for itself as well.

In terms of specs, the consumer-minded Samsung Instinct from Telus gets a 2.0 megapixel camera, 3.1 touchscreen with vibration feedback, 2.0 megapixel camera, EVDO Rev.A, stereo Bluetooth, and included 2GB microSD memory card. Pricing should be about $150 with a three-year contract when it launches later this year.
