Rogers iPhone 3G Rants Hit the Mainstream (Video)

By now, you’ve surely heard about that massive petition going around. Thousands of Canadians are absolutely outraged over the iPhone 3G plans that Rogers Wireless will be offering on July 11th and they just aren’t going to take it anymore. Some are so ticked off that they are willing to suffer through a $500 Early Cancellation Fee in protest. And it’s not just us online geeks that feel this way.

Global TV recently aired a segment explaining the truth about Rogers iPhone 3G plans, comparing what Rogers is doing with what is going on in the United States and the United Kingdom. The long and short of it is that Canadians are getting ripped off. We may pay about the same, but we only get about a third of the service. And we don’t get unlimited data.

Featured in the segment below are some popular online personalities like Net Chick and iPhoneInCanada.ca’s Gary Ng. They’re not happy.
