Two short weeks after the epic launch of the Apple iPhone 3G, Canadians will have a more business-oriented option on their hands. The word on the street, albeit an unconfirmed word, is that Rogers Wireless will start selling the BlackBerry Bold 9000 on July 25th.

If true, this would make Rogers Wireless the first North American service provider to carry the highly anticipated smartphone. It wouldn’t make them the absolute first to have the Bold, of course, because a few select celebs (like John Mayer) already have their hands on one. For the rest of the public, July 25 could mark the first chance to go Bold with Rogers.

Does this mean that certain party invitees could walk away with a BlackBerry Bold ahead of schedule? Perhaps.
