Asus to launch Eee PC 904 and 905

Asus is developing a brand new Eee PC that is a hybrid of current models. The Eee 904 and 905 would offer the comfort of their larger 10.2-inch models, for the price of the 8.9-inch models. Both models would include the same 8.9-inch display as the 901, but be enclosed in the case of the 1000. You lose out in the display size, but benefit in the lower cost and larger keyboard.

The Eee PC 904 and 905 will run on Atom processors similar to the 901 and 1000 models, announced earlier this month at Computex. Asus is still evaluating a battery and/or storage capacity change within the new models. There is no expected launch date currently, but when launched the 904 and 905 will replace the 900 and 901 on the Eee product line.
