The Samsung Omnia i900, as you may recall, was announced on the same day as the iPhone 3G. That’s not where the similarities end, of course, because this phone is going to get loaded up with all sorts of multimedia functionality as well. It’s also getting tons of AT&T-branded services like AT&T Music, Video, Navigator and possible Mobile TV too.
Rounding out the specs on this iPhone competitor, in case you missed it the first time around, include Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, 5 megapixel camera, UMTS/HSDPA, WQVGA display, Bluetooth, and your choice of 8GB or 16GB of internal memory. Look for it launch during Q3 2008.
