The rest of the civilized world may have to wait until July 11th before they can get their hands on the iPhone 3G, but if you can’t wait that long, you can get in some 3G touch action as soon as next week. Yes, you’ve already had the opportunity to buy the LG Voyager through Verizon Wireless for some time now, but not everyone likes the added girth of a physical keyboard and flip-open design.
If rumors are to be believed, the LG Dare is set to launch through Verizon Wireless on June 26. We hear that at least two other Korean cell phones are going on sale on the same day at Verizon: the LG Decoy and the LG Chocolate 3.
The LG Dare has EVDO Rev.A, a huge touchscreen (not multi-touch), V CAST, VZ Navigator, 3.2 megapixel camera, VGA video recording, HTML web browser, 3.5mm headset jack, handwriting recognition, Bluetooth 2.0, microSDHC expansion, a proximity sensor, and an ambient light sensor. Online sales kick off on June 26 with brick and mortar stores following suit on July 3.
