They say that if you can’t stand the heat, you should stay out of the kitchen. Luckily for the GoldKey USB Drive shown in the video below, it has no problem playing with a little bit of fire. Or even a lot of fire.

This does sounds little counterintuitive to me, though, considering that gold typically melts under extremely hot temperatures. You wouldn’t want to end up with a goopy malformed pile of digital files, now would you? I guess through the demo video, we should learn that gold is much better at withstanding heat than plastic.

Aside for its eye candy properties, the GoldKey USB Drive also features 256-bit AES encryption, PIN security, and a fingerprint scanner. The idea is that it should be as secure as humanly (or USB-ly) possible.
