All kidding aside, it is nice that Canadians will finally have an official way to get in on this more compact and affordable smartphone. Coming with a full QWERTY keyboard and a decent slate of Palm OS productivity software, the Centro is great for keeping track of your daily tasks, your schedule, and whatever else you need to track in your life. It’s also great for mobile email and text messaging.
No pricing information is available at this time, but I suspect that Rogers will maintain a price point close to what Sprint is doing in the States. My best guess would place the Rogers Wireless-branded Palm Centro at about $100 with a three-year contract.
