The trouble with most cases for the Apple iPhone is that they either offer no protection or no access for the touchscreen. The cases that protect the screen are also the ones that you need to open up in some way to gain access to the functions. The cases that grant you easy access to the features are also the ones that leave cracks and smudges to chance. One of the latest developments from Case-Mate addresses this very problem.

The Case-Mate Naked Case is the world’s first touch-through case for the Apple iPhone. It makes use of an electrostatic membrane on the front that enables your finger to access everything on the touchscreen. This membrane protects your display from smudges and food particles too. Pretty cool. The rest of the case is molded from some very hard plastic, but the reviewer is “not confident that it will survive a drop from a couple meters up.”

The fit is good and the Naked Case offers complete protection. Check it out for $34.99 or try to win one through iPhone in Canada.
