No promises have been made. No confirmation has been set. Even so, everyone on the Internet fully believes that when Steve Jobs takes the stage at WWDC 2008, he’s going to reveal the 3G iPhone to the world. Everything has been pointing toward this date and this event, so we really have no reason not to believe it.

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, or WWDC for short, is scheduled to kick off in just a few short hours in San Francisco. The marketing materials that have gone out to advertise WWDC 2008 tell us that it is going to be a landmark event “in more ways than one.”

Beyond the second-generation iPhone, what else does does the Cupertino master have in store for us? We will find out in five very long hours.
