Buy the HTC Touch Diamond Right Now for $780

The official launch date of the iPhone-killing HTC Touch Diamond is still a little way’s away, but if you want to get your hands on the device, you can. The catch is that you could be paying a rather hefty premium for the Windows Mobile-infused touchscreen smartphone.

A number of online stores are not only accepting pre-orders of the HTC Touch Diamond, they are ready to ship the units out to you today. These stores include DechoWireless, PopularElect, and Welectronics. We can’t vouch for their legitimacy, but they have the HTC Touch Diamond listed at anywhere between $780 and $850. They claim to have them in stock.

If you happen to have about $800 kicking around and you don’t know what to do with it, investing in an early release of the HTC Touch Diamond will surely make you the talk of the town. The rest of us can probably wait for the official June release date.
