It’s not going to dethrone the HTC Diamond or anything like that, but it does come powered by Windows Mobile 6 and gets a feature set that would have been pretty notable last year. That’s how quickly the smartphone market evolves. Among the highlights are a 2.8-inch touchscreen, quad-band GSM/GPRS, 2 megapixel camera, and Bluetooth. There’s no mention of Wi-Fi or 3G, unfortunately, so data hogs may have to look elsewhere.
Although it’s marketed as an “affordable business PDA”, I still think that the $488 HTC P3400i is a little pricey, especially for people accustomed to “free with contract” phones.
