HTC Diamond Gets Loaded with Opera Mobile 9.5 Browser

It has officially been confirmed by Opera Software that the pre-installed web browser on the HTC Diamond will be their totally awesome Opera Mobile 9.5. This web browser is supposed to be one of the best for the smartphone environment.

Among the features that you’ll find in Opera Mobile 9.5 are tabbed browsing, improved text wrap, landscape mode, the ability to call a number right from a webpage, history, bookmarks, and the ability to copy text to the clipboard. It’s a full-featured browser that closely mimics the experience you have on a full computer. You can also save pages for offline browsing.

“We have worked very closely with Opera Mobile,” said HTC President Peter Chou, “to deliver a feature set and browsing experience that is optimized for mobile, but viewed like it would on a PC.”
