Canadians across the country celebrated just a little when Rogers Wireless announced that they would be carrying Nokia’s flagship smartphone, but then they were thrown a little off by the initial asking price. Most consumers just aren’t prepared to dump $500 on a cell phone, especially if that price still requires a lengthy three-year service agreement. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could score the multimedia slider for half that price?

Best Buy is coming to the rescue of Nokia N-series lovers across Canada, because they are willing to sell you the truly awesome Nokia N95 for mere $249.99. This is the exact same phone that is being sold in Rogers Wireless corporate stores for $499.99 with contract and over $700 without. In order to take advantage of the $250 asking price, you’ll need to sign a three year agreement that includes the $7 Vision unlimited surfing plan.

There’s no saying how long this promotion will last, so if you’ve been sitting on the fence about getting a Nokia N95, Best Buy may have just tipped you in their direction.
