GPS Navigating On the Cheap: TomTom for $99

It used to be that these standalone GPS navigation devices were pricey little numbers and most people could justify spending that kind of money. As with all other kinds of technology, times have changed and now you can spin around foreign cities with the best of them.

If you’ve been itching to get in on some GPS action, now might be the time to do it. Buy.com is holding a sale on the TomTom ONE for just $99. That’s less than a hundred bucks (before taxes)! Specs on the unit include a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, preloaded maps for Canada and the US, turn-by-turn voiced directions, and millions of points of interest.

The catch is that this is not a new unit. The $99 price will buy you a refurbished TomTom ONE, but it does come with warranty. The sticker price is $119 and then there’s a $20 rebate.
