A megabyte? Who is ever going to need that much memory?! A gigabyte? Are you kidding me?!

My, how times have changed. Many of us have huge multimedia collections on our computers and it’s getting increasingly difficult to shove it all onto those tiny notebook hard drives. Asus is breaking new ground with the official announcement of the Asus M70. They say that it’s the world’s first laptop to come with a full terabyte of storage capacity.

They managed to achieve this feat by shoehorning a pair of 500GB Hitachi Travelstar drives into the notebook. Other features include a 17-inch WUXGA display, four Altec Lansing speakers, HDMI port, facial recognition, biometric fingerprint reader, Blu-ray support, Intel Core 2 Duo processor (your choice of five), Windows Vista, and up to 4GB of RAM.

This is one beefy computer!
