Video: Does This Mean the iPhone is Coming to Canada?

I’ll have to take this with a serious grain of salt, but it’s another indicator that Apple definitely wants to bring the iPhone to Canada. It’s a bit of a stretch, but bear with me. The community at ModMyiFone.com posted up a video, walking us through a jailbroken iPhone 2.0.

This is interesting enough on its own, but you get to about the 3:52 mark in the video, something pretty interesting pops up. The user is scrolling through the list of international language support when it shows both French and French (Canada). This could be evidence of the iPhone coming to Canada… or it could be just language support.

If the iPhone is indeed to coming to Canada, it might not even be through Rogers Wireless. There’s a spectrum auction scheduled to commence in May and a new player could opt in for some Cupertino-fueled cellular goodness.
