OCZ Technology Group is a company that knows a thing or two about memory. Their latest unveiling is a line of OCZ SATA II 2.5-inch Solid State Drives, which they call a “lightweight and efficient alternative to conventional hard disc drives.” Yes, we already knew that.

These laptop and external enclosure-friendly solid state drives should be ideal for energy-efficient mobile computing. The read speed has been rated at 120MB/sec, whereas the write has been clocked at 100MB/sec. The initial OCZ solid state drives will be offered in 32GB and 64GB capacities.
