Samsung Formally Announces F110 Fitness Phone From Adidas

Forget the Nike+iPod system. At least, that’s what Adidas and Samsung want you to do, because they have just announced the SGH-F110 fitness phone. Designed for active types, the F110 comes equipped with all sorts of functions that will serve you well in the gym, on the trail, or wherever else you choose to break a sweat.

These health-conscious features include a heartbeat monitor and step counter, but they also keep you entertained on your jog with the implementation of an MP3 player and FM tuner. Rounding out the specs are a 2-inch LCD, 1GB internal memory, and a two megapixel camera.

Set for launch in the UK next month, the Samsung SGH-F110 fitness phone even “chimes every time you slow down.” The constant motivator, sort of like Little Mac’s coach from Punch Out.
