The Aliph Jawbone isn’t the only sound isolating headset in town and some have said that the Z9 Bluetooth Headset from BlueAnt is actually superior to the Jawbone.

On display at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the BlueAnt Z9 boasts “Voice Isolation technology which can filter the sound of human voice from ambient noise of up to 85dB.” This means that if you happen to be at a busy urban intersection, the person on the other end of the call should still be able to hear your voice loud and clear.

The voice isolation technology is three fold: echo cancellation, noise suppression, and reduction of wind noise. There are even two isolation modes, one of which is designed specifically for extremely noisy environments.
