Gone are the days where you are restricted to a small palette of boring colors for notebook computers. As you know, the Asus Eee PC is available in a myriad of tones these days, but they’re not the only rainbow-themed player in town. For something a little bigger while still quite portable, take a gander at the MSI PR200 YA Edition laptop computers.
Featuring a sleek 12.1-inch TFT WXGA display, these notebooks are fairly compact and they come in your choice of three pastel colors: denim blue, coral pink, and wasabi green. Thanks to the ring on the top cover, I’d say that these laptops — which were revealed at CES 2008 last month — look a little like some of the laptops from Dell.
In terms of features, the YA Edition notebooks come with 802.11n wireless networking, an integrated fingerprint reader, up to 4GB of RAM, 4-in-1 card reader, DVD Super-Multi drive, 1.3 megapixel webcam, and HDMI support. The MSI laptops are scheduled to hit German shelves this month.
