Over at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Samsung is offering a wide range of cell phones for the mobile lovers of the world, but none seem to embrace the Samsung philosophy quite as strongly as the SGH-P960. This phone has everything that the Samsung marque seems to stand for, so it’s up to you to decide whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
For starters, the Samsung SGH-P960 is a slider phone, as appears to be norm for anything fashionable coming out of Sammy. Secondly, it has a mirror-finish, shining brightly in your eye on a nice, sunny day. The metallic keypad is a little difference, but it just meshes better with a shiny silver surface of the phone. Naturally, they’ve kept the profile to a minimum as well.
In terms of features, the 2.6-inch TFT display is a QVGA number and it comes backed by touch sensitive controls, a 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, multimedia player, FM radio, DVB-H digital TV, and a full Internet browser. Cellular is covered via tri-band GSM, whereas data gets its fix through Euro-friendly 3G.
