The Motorola ROKR E8 was on display at CES, but we didn’t know which American provider was going to pick up this candybar with a semi-touchwheel. Turns out that it’s going to be T-Mobile. The musically-inclined among their fold should have a little reason to celebrate, because this handset comes with a pretty decent set of features.
You get things like 2GB of internal memory, Bluetooth A2DP, 3.5mm audio port, full HTML browser, Real Audio v10 Microsoft music ecosystem, and an integrated media player. The haptic touchpad design is what will definitely grab your attention, but the FastScroll touch-sensitive navigation wheel and ModeShift lighting are pretty cool too. No word on pricing.
