The name might not ring a bell among mobile phone aficionados, but Mark Levinson is a well-respected company specializing in high-end digital audio processors, integrated amplifiers, and other audio equipment targeted specifically at the more expensive end of the audiophile market. If you’re rocking anything by Mark Levinson, real rock stars know that you mean business.

LG has already teamed up with companies like Prada in the past, but with the addition of the LG Mark Levinson phone, life could prove to be not only good for the Korean firm, but stupendously eardrum-rattling good. Based solely on appearances, this new slider phone doesn’t look like much, but the collaboration is supposed to deliver “enhanced sound quality”.

I’ll have to hear it to believe it, but in the meantime, I’m left only looking at specs like the 2.0-inch display, Bluetooth 2.0, and 30 hours of continuous playback. The “music interactive” display might prove interesting too.
