Android Platform Animates Not Unlike iPhone User Interface

There are already plenty of comparisons being drawn between the Apple iPhone and devices that will be based on the Google Android platform, despite the fact that none of the latter have been officially revealed to the public. We’ve had a brief glimpse at the user interface, but we’re still not completely sure what to expect from Android.

The initial release of the Android OS was too raw, but over at the Mobile World Congress today, Google was showing off a revitalized version of Android and it’s starting to look a little (more) like the iPhone. The “refreshed” Android SDK has a user interface that features “smooth, animated transitions.” Sound familiar?

From the iPhone to HTC’s TouchFLO, it seems that animations are totally the “in” thing to do these days. Head on over to Gizmodo to see the video.
