If you’re rocking an iPhone with the brand new 4.6 bootloader, you may be scratching your head over how to jailbreak, activate, and unlock that touchtastic mobile. Thankfully, a new resource — ZiPhone — has been released that effectively lets you unlock just about any iPhone 1.1.2 or 1.1.3.

If you’re running firmware version 1.1.1 and below, you’re in luck as well, because this application will jailbreak and activate your phone. If you have firmware 1.1.2 or 1.1.3 OTB, then you’ll be able to do those two things, plus unlock your phone at baseband 4.02 and fix your IMEI issues.

The process is supposed to be quite easy and straightforward, but there are “still bugges reported by many”, so proceed with caution. Full instructions can be found here.
