As if it weren’t already a formidable handheld, the HTC Advantage — recently rechristened as the HTC X7510 — has received some rather massive software and hardware upgrades to make it even more powerful.

For starters, the internal storage capacity has been bumped up to 16GB of flash memory, giving users more space to stash their precious documents and multimedia content. The keyboard has undergone a bit of a facelift too. On the software side of things, the newly revitalized Advantage gets treated to Opera 9.5 and a “future version” of Windows Mobile, whatever that means.

Other tech thrown into the mix include HTC VueVLO (which rotates the display a la iPhone), Marvel PXA270 and Qualcomm MSM 6275 processors, 5-inch VGA screen, 3 megapixel camera, 128MB RAM, and tr-band HSDPA. No word on price, but we hear it’ll launch next month.
