It didn’t take long, but the iPhone 1.1.3 jailbreak has been released to the web-savvy public, but it’s not like this jailbreak isn’t without its limitations. For starters, you have to start “with an existing jailbreaked 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 iPhone.” If you happen to buy a brand new 1.1.3 iPhone from the Apple store, this jailbreak method will likely result in a $400 paper weight. The other caveat is that this guide only applies to Windows users, ironically enough, so if you’ve got a Mac, you’ve got to wait.
Naturally, there are countless risks involved with this process, just like any other iPhone jailbreak and/or update. Make sure you back everything up before reading this guide.
