Yeah.. I've had this phone for about 6 months.

I agree... The UI sucks. Total thumbs down to motorola for this piece of sluggish, laggy crap.

Real life has found that if you wish to make a call.. you better be prepared to wait. It can take up to a full minute for the operating system to register a button-press at some times. This also happens with incoming calls. I have missed many calls simply because the phone does not respond to me pressing the answer button a million and a half times trying to answer the call only to find when it does register I've missed the call, and been guided soo deep into the menu system, I almost factory reset it.

The music feature isn't all that bad. Although they could have spent a few more cents per unit and opted for a real speaker instead of the crappy piezo speaker.

The camera. I think they overestimated the pixelcount when they rated this one... The shots taken with the 2.0 Mega-pixel turns out worse than my OLD 1.4 MP handheld camera.

I commend Motorola for not using some 38 million pin charging cable you can only find in tiawan for 300 dollars, but they still have yet to actually use a standard USB port for charging/linking.

The bluetooth link is an allright feature that I have yet to find a problem with. I can send and receive just about any filetype.

I still pocketdial 911.

The inability to edit the softkeys (shortcuts button and main menu button) is another nail in this phone's coffin. By the way... I already have a FAV's button. I don't need a shortcut in the shortcut menu for that.

The battery life is ok, if you're not going to use the music feature.

The Radio function is really why I chose this phone... although I was disappointed to find out it's only FM. I was even more disappointed to find out that you have to have the headset plugged in to use the radio, seriously, how much extra would it have costed to integrate the antenna inside the handset?

That chrome looking semicircle around the middle button of the phone... that's Motorola's take on Apples glider as far as I can guess, and it is wayy behind the times in terms of functionality... I often find I have overshot my intended menu item because it is wayy to sensitive and I accidentally scrolled over it when I was going to press the accept key. Yes. I do not use the "whatever it's called" scroll function.

All in all, it's a sexy LOOKING phone, but that's about it. I would not recommend this phone if you have the option or cash to choose another phone.

Motorola, maybe next time you should run a beta test and tweak the final product to fit the consumer like Microsoft finally did.
